About Children’s Therapy Works
Children’s Therapy Works has two office locations in Clearwater and Willmar, MN. Clearwater is just minutes from St. Cloud and the western Metro, conveniently located off of Interstate 94 and Hwy 10. The Willmar location is off of Hwy 23/71, across from Eagle Lake. Both locations are easily accessible and provide a relaxing, holistic atmosphere.
Children’s Therapy Works provides occupational therapy, speech therapy and mental health therapy services on an out-patient basis.
Children’s Therapy Works services children, adolescents and adults with medical diagnoses such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Effects, Genetic Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Mood Disorder, Personality Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, among others.
Therapists work with patients to develop skills in some of the following areas:
- oral motor/feeding skills
- fine and gross motor skills
- visual motor and visual perceptual skills
- cognitive skills
- sensory integration
- self care skills
- communication skills
- calming and relaxation skills
A physician’s order is required for an evaluation and any ongoing treatment for occupation and speech therapy. Children’s Therapy Works contracts with most insurance companies including Medica, UCare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Medical Assistance, Prime West, Health Partners, Tricare and other smaller insurance companies.
Insurance companies are very confusing, it is beneficial for you to call your insurance company and ask for out-patient occupational therapy, speech therapy and/or mental health therapy benefits prior to being seen. This way you are aware of your coverage and any out of pocket expense you may incur.
